We
offer two types of auctions: ¥100 Start and Reserve
Price.
¥100
Start Auction - This type of auction begins at ¥100.
No final price is guaranteed, though on average, items that begin
at ¥100 tend to finish at higher amounts. Your item is listed
a maximum of three times for 7 days each time, so if your item
does not sell the first time, we will list it two more times.
Regardless of whether your item sells, a ¥2000 setup fee is
charged by The Blue Parrot when the item is listed. This ¥2000
setup fee is credited towards the final commission in the case
your item sells. If it does not sell, the item will be sent back
to you at no additional charge.
Reserve Price Auction - A reserve price auction allows
you to decide the amount you would like the auction to begin at.
Regardless of whether your item sells, a ¥2000 yen fee per
item is charged by The Blue Parrot when the item is listed. This
¥2000 fee is credited towards the final commission in the
case your item sells. Your item will be listed a maximum three
times. If it does not sell, the item will be sent back to you
at your expense.
Fees
The Blue Parrot’s commission is based on your item's final
sales price, as follows:
-38% of the first ¥20000
-30% of the next ¥30000 (¥20001-¥50000)
-20% of the remaining amount (over ¥50000)
-¥2000 initial setup fee (credited towards the final commission
if item sells)
-Yahoo Auction also charges a commission if your item sells:
3% of the final selling price

sell your Casio watch for ¥65000

¥9000 - (30% of the next ¥30000 (¥20001-¥50000)
¥3000 - (20% of the remaining amount (¥15000)

You receive
¥45400 (¥65000-¥19600)
Procedure
Your item(s) will be sent to our processing center, where photos
will be taken and a listing placed with Yahoo Auction. The auction
will begin within 10 days of us receiving your item(s). After
an auction begins, we will send you the URL of the listing. Once
the auction finishes, we will transfer the selling amount, less
commissions, into your bank account. In the case your item does
not sell after three listings, we will return it to you via Sagawa
Delivery or the Japanese Postal Service. There is no additional
charge for this in the case of a ¥100 Start Auction, but you
will be charged if you chose to sell their item using the Reserve
Price Auction structure. A ¥2000 setup fee per item is charged
at the time signing the listing agreement. This fee is non-refundable,
though it will be credited towards the final commission amount
in the case your item sells.
